WORLD EXPO 2027

A Sign of the Times

There is no more important topic for the nations of the world to address than the health of our planet’s people. Coming on the heels of a global pandemic and in a world gripped by effects of climate change, we call on the nations of the world to gather in the United States to discuss, challenge, educate and celebrate the world’s innovative approaches to improve people’s lives. More than $12 trillion is spent every year on health and wellness—or roughly one-sixth of the world’s economic activity—and our bid proposes to host a Specialized Expo that focuses on addressing one of the most pressing topics of our times. No other human endeavor comes close to the size of the global wellness economy. As the “Silicon Valley of Healthcare,” Minnesota is uniquely positioned to host such an important global gathering.
